Baix is the laureate duo of the call for projects for young musical projects by students of the HEMU, launched jointly with the Festival de la Cité last spring. With a unique repertoire ranging from early music to Olivier Maessien, and original arrangements for electric bass and voice, enhanced with effects pedals, Naomi Cohen and Jeanne Pâris aim to transcend temporal boundaries and immerse us in a universe where aesthetic conventions are reinvented and the transgression of norms celebrated.
