Composed of some sixty choir singers and led by the extremely creative and versatile Venezuelan-born conductor Johanna Hernandez, Lausanne's Choeur Vivace celebrates the great works of classical vocal music all year round. In the streets of the Festival de la Cité, it will, as if truly fallen from heaven, surprise us by performing Johann Sebastian Bach's Gloria in excelsis deo - taken from cantata BWV 191, accompanied by timpani and trumpets.
