GIMME A BREAK !!!

GIMME A BREAK!!! is a quest for catharsis. Borrowing from the vocabulary of rave music, meditative practices and headbanging, Baptiste Cazaux continues his research on letting go, which he sees as a survival strategy in the face of capitalism. Working in duet with loudspeakers, the choreographer composes a disrupted space-time, full of complexities and contradictions, in which he embarks on the pursuit of a necessary and assertive vital impulse. Presented as an evening opener at Tridel in a special club setup, the piece continues to blur the boundaries between the worlds of partying and performance.
