Les Persanes is a musical and poetic performance echoing Leili Yahr's LES PERSES. A choir of five singers accompanied by three instrumentalists on harp, cello and Persian percussion will perform excerpts from Aeschylus' tragedy The Persians in ancient Greek, punctuated by Persian poems interpreted by Iranian women.
For the duration of the Festival, a video installation at the entrance to the cathedral will allow the public to discover the testimonies of these Persian women from three different generations who have immigrated to Switzerland.
