Reface

Reface unfolds as an exploration of transformation. Metamorphosis, deformation and alteration are all ways of shifting the focus of a message that doesn't take itself seriously. Everything becomes confusion and illusion. Games and artifice. Cinema and lies. Like a blank page being written over the course of the performance, the two performers Chandra Grangean and Lise Messina transform before the audience's very eyes. Shifting from one image to another, they confuse and confound. Martin Malatray-Ravit's soundtrack acts as a third presence, adding to the blurring of senses.
