The Scorpios

The Scorpios is a band whose public performances can be counted on the fingers of one hand. They challenge the exoticized clichés that one might have about Sudanese music, by performing an uncompromising blend of Arabic funk rhythms, stratospheric synthesizers, and psychedelic guitars. With vocals and percussion, the septet reinvents the essence of Sudanese folklore like no other group has done before.
